Warzone Season 2 Reloaded delivers TMNT crossover, new weapons, major gameplay adjustments and quality of life improvements
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Event
Warzone Season 2 Reloaded introduces an exciting crossover with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, bringing the beloved heroes to the battle royale landscape. This collaboration marks one of the most extensive character integrations in recent Call of Duty history.
The four iconic turtles – Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael – each receive their own distinctive Tracer Pack bundles featuring unique visual effects and customization options. Master Splinter joins the roster as a new operator available through the TMNT Event Pass, providing players with additional cosmetic variety.
Strategic Tip: The TMNT operators aren’t just cosmetic – their smaller character models can provide slight tactical advantages in certain combat situations by presenting smaller targets.

New Weapons Arsenal
Season 2 Reloaded expands the melee weapon roster significantly with six new options, each offering distinct combat characteristics and unlock requirements.
Pro Strategy: The Bo Staff’s exceptional range makes it ideal for players who prefer keeping distance in melee engagements, while the Nunchaku’s rapid attack speed excels in close-quarters panic situations.
Low Profile Perk
The newly introduced Low Profile Perk revolutionizes stealth gameplay mechanics for tactical operators. This perk significantly enhances movement speed while crouched and prone, allowing for more effective flanking maneuvers and surprise attacks.
Additionally, the perk improves crawling velocity when downed, dramatically increasing survival chances by enabling quicker access to cover or teammate assistance. This feature is particularly valuable in final circle scenarios where every movement counts.
Common Mistake: Many players underestimate the perk’s value in aggressive playstyles. Combine Low Profile with tactical sprint for unexpected positioning advantages that can catch opponents off guard.
Belt-Fed Attachment
The innovative Belt-Fed attachment introduces a new gameplay dynamic for light machine gun enthusiasts. This magazine alternative becomes available for the PU-21, XMG, GPMG-7, and Feng 82 platforms, obtainable through the TMNT event’s free track.
This attachment provides substantially increased ammunition capacity with continuous feeding during sustained fire, eliminating reload interruptions during extended engagements. However, this comes with the strategic drawback of potential overheating – players must carefully manage trigger discipline and allow cooling periods to maintain optimal weapon performance.
Advanced Technique: Use short, controlled bursts rather than continuous fire to manage heat buildup while maintaining suppression effectiveness. The attachment excels in defensive positions and objective-based gameplay.
Gameplay System Adjustments
- Combat Records have been enabled.
- If a player has already accessed a specific Loadout Drop crate and then dies, they will not be able to return to that exact same Loadout Drop crate to reacquire new weapons. They will either need to return to their dropped weapons as indicated by the skull icon on the map, acquire a new Loadout Drop, purchase their weapon from a Buy Station, or find a Favorite Supply Box.
As part of our ongoing efforts to refine gameplay, we’ve been addressing long-standing “cheese” mechanics to create a more balanced experience for all players. One exploit we’ve observed, particularly in Resurgence, involves a small percentage of players repeatedly using a Loadout Drop after death to duplicate their weapons.
- Trades now downgrade the weapon by only one rarity tier instead of two (e.g., Legendary now trades for Epic instead of Rare).
- Trade interaction times have been significantly reduced (e.g., trading a Legendary weapon now takes 1.75s instead of 5s).
- Fire Sale trading offers have been improved.
Strategic Impact: The loadout restriction change prevents weapon duplication exploits that provided unfair advantages in Resurgence modes, while the improved trade station mechanics make weapon upgrading more accessible during matches.
Quality of Life Enhancements
Season 2 Reloaded introduces numerous interface and gameplay refinements designed to improve the overall player experience across multiple systems.
- Added a Stamina Bar that displays the amount of tactical sprint a player has remaining, which is off by default.
- Players can enable it in settings, with options to display it next to the squad widget or the reticle.
- Matching lethal/tactical equipment will now be refilled upon picking up a loadout instead of being dropped on the ground.
- If a player has empty lethal/tactical slots (indicated by white dots on the UI), they will now automatically pick up new equipment.
- A player’s favorited loadout will now appear as the top loadout in the Loadout Crate.
Optimization Tip: Enable the stamina bar near your reticle for better tactical sprint management during intense firefights. The automatic equipment pickup feature saves crucial seconds when looting under pressure.
Weapon Balancing Updates
Significant weapon tuning affects ammunition types, attachment performance, and specific weapon characteristics to create more balanced combat dynamics.
- Bullet Velocity benefit increased from 20% to 25%
- Removed Damage Range penalty
- Gunkick benefit increased from 5% to 12%
- Recoil Control benefit increased from 8% to 15%
- Removed Damage Range and Bullet Velocity penalty
- Aim Down Sight speed penalty increased from 30% to 42%
- Maximum Damage decreased from 40 to 34
- Maximum Damage Range decreased from 45.7m to 38.1m
- Minimum Damage decreased from 34 to 30
Meta Shift: The ammunition changes make High Velocity and Low Grain options more viable for different playstyles. High Velocity now excels for long-range engagements, while Low Grain provides superior recoil control for close to mid-range combat without traditional drawbacks.
Common Mistake: Many players continue using extended magazines without considering the significantly increased ADS penalties. Consider smaller magazine options for aggressive playstyles that require quicker target acquisition.
