Riot Games has partnered with Marvel Comics for their second collaborative graphic novel project, featuring the radiant mage Luxanna “Lux” Crownguard as the central protagonist. League of Legends: Lux delves into the challenging journey of the young magical prodigy as she navigates survival in Demacia, a nation where arcane abilities are completely prohibited. The five-issue narrative arc will center on Lux’s personal development while examining her intricate connections with key figures: her brother Garen, a celebrated Demacian warrior, and the revolutionary mage Sylas who challenges the kingdom’s anti-magic doctrines.

The official League of Legends YouTube channel premiered an announcement trailer showcasing the upcoming comic series. This promotional content featured multiple unlettered artwork panels that highlight the visual style, along with revealing the cover design for the inaugural issue.
