Popular content creator Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang appears to be withdrawing from Valorant competitive scene management following his decision to release all players and coaching staff from his Challengers division.

Despite assembling what seemed like a formidable lineup for the North American Valorant Challengers League, DSG encountered persistent competitive hurdles. The squad missed playoff qualification entirely and was eliminated from Ascension tournament contention. The streamer utilized Twitter to communicate this disappointing development to his community.

“Following our relegation from the VCT Challenger League, we’ve parted ways with our competitive roster and coaching personnel as we assess DSG’s ongoing role in Valorant,” Disguised Toast announced. “We extend our gratitude to every competitor for their dedication during this inaugural season and wish them success in future endeavors.”

Navigating the Challengers circuit proved emotionally taxing for the organization owner. During early May, he issued public apologies when the team’s performance deteriorated significantly, having accumulated an 0-3 league record at that juncture. Disguised Toast acknowledged feeling responsible for disappointing both his competitors and supporters, while emphasizing his novice status in professional esports management and commitment to learning industry complexities.

Earlier in his Valorant venture, Disguised Toast also established a Game Changers division composed entirely of prominent female Valorant streamers. This initiative similarly failed to deliver competitive results, necessitating the release of those competitors as well.

The accumulated competitive frustrations Disguised Toast consistently experienced while establishing his Valorant esports presence strongly indicate potential complete departure from the game’s competitive landscape. His social media statement suggested genuine uncertainty regarding continued Valorant involvement after the recent roster dissolution decision.

Evidence suggests Disguised Toast may redirect his competitive focus toward League of Legends infrastructure. He recently published tweets indicating active recruitment of elite League of Legends professionals throughout North America.

“Considering assembling a competitive squad,” he tweeted during late May.
